I have never been more honoured than when I was recently presented with a Metis sash from members of the community where I weekly attend and participate in Mass by playing liturgy on guitar.  I shall shortly go there to honour that community in song and dancing and feasting.  It’s a wonderful place and people and deeply tied in part to my own Scottish ancestors who came to North America in the early 1700’s…
